The database is getting GOOOD!
Don't take my word for it though. Check out this DM on Twitter from a new subscriber:
By the way, do you follow me on Twitter? If not, check me out. I am @talktohenryj
This week I added a lot of different columns to the database so you can easily search through it for exactly what kind of job and company you want.
For example, I added current openings, total employees, remote positions, and links to newsletters they were featured in.
In future newsletters, I will use this to help surface good job opportunities. Stay tuned for that.
Speaking of premium subscribers, this week 4 people signed up so they will now get access to:
Currently, you can sign up for a $1 trial. I am getting rid of the trial either this week or next week. So if you are thinking about it, you can save $19 if you do it now rather than later.

Update to the Rockets
This is a bit of an exclusive offer. Privy, the e-commerce marketing software, is growing soon.
I am in the CMO, Dave Gerhardt’s, marketing group and he announced to us that he will be hiring soon. This is not a current opening but like I often mention, it is good to start building relationships early.
Dave is very active on LinkedIn and Twitter. I would highly recommend starting to build a relationship with him if you are interested in this position. I have added his info to the database.
It is my belief that Privy has a chance to be a billion-dollar business. They currently do over $10M ARR and are growing quickly. As E-Commerce continues to grow and they continue to improve their position in the e-commerce marketing marketplace I believe their annual revenue will continue to grow significantly.
OnDeck, the modern education institution, is hiring a No-Code Operations person. This is an interesting role to me because it makes me think not only of OnDeck but also of Retool (another Rocketship Jobs company). No-Code is continuing to grow, internal no-code operations will very likely be a big space. This will benefit Retool a lot but it’s great to see other Rocketship Jobs companies seeing the future and helping to build it!
This No-Code Operations role is remote but requires experience with No-Code tools like Airtable, Zapier, Typeform, Notion, etc. I highly recommend you look into it if you fit the description. Here is the link.
As always, I recommend reaching out directly. The CEO’s information is on the Rocketship Jobs database.
This is exciting for me.
I have been following Deel since February 28th when they were in Y-Combinator. At the time they were just starting to hire and didn’t have a ton of structure to their website / business. Now they are at Series B and truly cooking with gas.
I see big things coming from Deel. They are currently hiring for positions in Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Support, and Sales. All of the positions are remote.
As always, I recommend reaching out directly. The CEO’s information is on the Rocketship Jobs database.
Potential Rockets
Yotta Savings is another company from the Y Combinator 20 batch. They received the typical $125K investment from YC and are a direct competitor of another Rocketship Job company PrizePool.
Both companies have a very interesting concept, gamifying savings but I like Yotta a little bit more because it seems like they are doing a better job going to market. PrizePool has received more investment money, $4.3M, but if you google the company's names Yotta Savings is doing a much better job getting the word out. This is important.
Time will tell which wins. We will track both on the Rocketship Jobs database. In the meantime, Yotta is hiring in Engineering and Marketing. Both roles are in New York or Remote.
The CEO’s information is on the Rocketship Jobs database.
The Morning Brew is a new addition to the Rocketship Jobs database. I have featured cold emailing advice from them in previous newsletters but never a job from them.
They like The Hustle, which is another Rocketship Jobs company, are a daily business news newsletter company. They’re not heavily venture-backed but they are growing very fast, the CEO said they should do over $20M this year. Last year they did $13.5M.
This is the Roam Research team. They recently raised $9M at a $200M valuation. That is a HUGE multiple.
I am getting tired of covering these productivity apps but Roam Research is the fastest company in history to reach $1M annual recurring revenue so it is impossible not to cover them.
There isn’t a lot of information about positions they are hiring for online right now but I guarantee they are hiring. I would reach out to them directly. Their information is in the Rocketship Jobs Database.
They also have an opening for a Customer Support Rep on their website but I don’t believe that is up to date.
What's Going on Outside
I read this great article about companies making their first marketing hire. It was interesting because the writer mentioned why she would avoid taking the first marketing hire position at SuperHuman. I love SuperHuman as a product so it caught me off guard. Her reasoning was sound and a great lesson for anyone looking to be the first marketing hire at a company.
FIN
Ok, that's it for today but if you've made it this far I would love to offer you something.
My plan for next week's email is to use the database to source a few great opportunities for people.
What kind of job are you looking for? For example, someone messaged me last week about marketing jobs at series A companies in NYC. That is something I can pull up.
You can have whatever you like. I look forward to hearing from you 😁
